Mother Nature was at her best, maybe even perfection. An early morning rain wet the leaves and foreground, furthering the already amazing colors, contrast, and alluring structure.
The scene came alive when the sun briefly appeared, back lighting this very unique Japanese Maple tree. For that abrupt moment, it was as if the tree was on fire.
I have titled this image The Tree of Life. Not only for its tremendous beauty and grandeur, but if you look closely, not one leaf has fallen to the ground. This struck me as incredible as well as opening my eyes to an almost spiritual feeling of health and longevity.
